YVONNE
VALDEZ, Receptionist,
is the face and voice of Fleming & Curti, where her
friendly and outgoing personality is a major asset. Yvonne was born and raised in Tucson and her large family (it
sometimes seems as though she’s related somehow to everyone in town!)
is very important to her, especially her three sons.
When not at work or spending time with her family,
Yvonne likes to keep in shape through kickboxing and walking.
She also loves reading murder mysteries, watching Court TV,
animals (especially giraffes), and anything purple.
YVETTE
MORENO, Receptionist,
is new to our staff. We'll get her working on a bio soon!
JAMESON
YORK,
Systems Administrator,
is a Southern California transplant who came to Tucson to be
close to his girlfriend,
now fiance. Hired at Fleming & Curti primarily to take care of court
filing and the like, he quickly proved essential to the continued smooth
operation of office computers and systems. Appropriately enough for that
background, Jameson's personal interests run to computers, systems and
online gaming--especially the Magrathea
MUD, where he and Robyn first met.
LAURIE
JENKS,
File Clerk,
was born in Omaha and lived in San Diego for many years before
coming to Tucson and, eventually, Fleming & Curti.
She says she’s never worked with more laid-back and mellow
people, and enjoys the opportunity to learn to use new technologies in
the course of her job duties.
Outside of work, Laurie likes to pursue a diverse range
of hobbies including travel, hiking, reading mysteries and riding
motorcycles. Her Shih Tzu,
Dusty, also takes up a good deal of her time now that her daughter,
Tiffany, is grown and has two daughters of her own. ROBYN
FLEMING,
Archivist,
earned her B.A. in English from the
University of Arizona in 2005, making her more than qualified for the
linguistic rigors of alphabetical filing and data entry.
She’s been a part of the Fleming & Curti family since 2002
(and a part of the Fleming family for considerably longer), doing a wide
variety of odd jobs ranging from scanning and shredding older files to
giving lunchtime presentations on the finer points of tabbed browsing
with Firefox.
When not at work, Robyn’s chief occupation is
her writing. She blogs
regularly, and writes science fiction and fantasy short stories and
novels (as well as poetry on a variety of subjects).
When she’s taking a break from the keyboard, she enjoys
teaching martial arts (she holds a second degree black belt in ChaYon
Ryu), knitting, playing Dungeons & Dragons and making one-of-a-kind
fashion dolls. You can learn more about her (and view some samples of her
work) at her own website. |
